Hyderabad: India SME Forum's groundbreaking initiative, IndiaXports, heralds a new era in the country's export landscape, aiming to empower 200,000 first-time MSME exporters. The recent Regional MSME Exports Summit hosted at the Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre, Hyderabad, showcased the forum's commitment to fostering export growth.

Launched by Union Minister of MSME, Narayan Tatu Rane, and Mr Santosh Sarangi, IAS, Director General of Foreign Trade in November 2023, IndiaXports sought to orient first-time MSME exporters by providing comprehensive training and facilitating market exploration. With a focus on crucial aspects like phytosanitary measures, international certifications, and quality standards, the initiative aims to equip MSMEs for global competitiveness.

India SME Forum's outreach strategy spans Jan-March, encompassing regional metro cities and industry clusters, ensuring maximum participation and awareness among MSMEs. Collaborating with UPS and ICICI Bank, the initiative offers logistics and trade finance expertise, further enhancing MSMEs' export capabilities.

Mr. Vinod Kumar, President, of India SME Forum, emphasized the transformative impact of IndiaXports, stating, "Our initiative aims to propel MSMEs onto the global stage, fostering economic prosperity through strategic initiatives and collective efforts. By broadening horizons and facilitating international exposure, we are paving the way for MSMEs to thrive in the global marketplace."
